Introducing 2014/15 DSP shares....

Hi everyone! This year I am trying something different with the beginning of the new catalogue,  and I am offering product shares! Product shares are a great way to sample some of our fabulous goodies without having to buy everything!

This month I am offering 1/4 pack DSP shares in 6" x 12" size. Having your DSP cut in this size is great for scrapbooking or 3D gift decorating, it's always good to have versatility, and of course it can be cut down 6" x 6" if that is the size you really want. (just let me know).

DSP: You will get 48 sheets of the standard designer series papers in the new annual catalogue, plus 18 sheets (total) of the Typeset(12) and Gold Soiree(6) -  each sheet of GS features metallic gold ink! - , plus 24 sheets of the 11.4 x 16.5cm paper stacks Moonlight and All Abloom for $54.85 plus postage in a prepaid satchel (price to be advised). If you bought all of the dsp yourself, it would cost you $219.40!

Specialty DSP: You will get 1 sheet of each of the glimmer paper colours: Dazzling Diamonds, Gold, Silver, Red and Champagne (all 6" x 12"). You will also get 1 each of the Foil sheets in gold and silver in 6" x 12". That's 7 (6 x 12) sheets for only $14.65 plus postage in a prepaid satchel (price to be advised)- if you bought the whole lot yourself it would cost you $58.60!!

I will be placing the order on July 1st, then when I receive the order, I will cut, sort and pop in the post to you. I will be taking names for share spots starting now, and as spaces fill up, I will be contacting you for payment and placing the order. Your goodies will be packed so they don't bend and are water tight.

Flower Shop Bundle.....is retiring!

Don't you love this stamp set and matching punch? I only recently got this set and have been on a cardmaking frenzy ever since!

Eastern Elegance Brag Book with Box...

Each month I host a Stamp Club at my house, some of the ladies have been with me for over 5 years, others have come along in the years since, but ALL of them have become my good friends, and some of them have become part of my team - the Pink Ink Stampers!!

Each meeting we not only make some gorgeous things using product from the catalogues - sometimes new techniques, sometimes 3D, sometimes scrapbooking, sometimes cards - but always something new and interesting. I also set a challenge each month. It could be a card with a set sketch, or a WOW project or a 3D item of their choice, and the girls choose their own winner. I make a little something as a prize and it forces me to come up with something new each time - these girls are getting so advanced!!

Here is my challenge prize for this month - a little brag/smash book with a matching box. I found the template online for the book, but made the box myself - both items are quick and easy and look amazing!!

The dsp I used is retiring at the end of the month, and I really love it, shame to see it go, but I am looking forward to the new dsp arriving in July!!

Stamp Club Projects

Each month since I became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - that's nearly 5 years!! - I have held a Stamp Club meeting. If you are new to the Stamp Club idea, it's a regular group of stampers that commit to spending a certain amount each month, for a certain amount of time, and in return, we get together and make 3 or 4 projects. I supply all of the products needed, they just come along and have fun! We try out different techniques, learn new ways of using current products, try out current products, and have some adult time. Each time we go home with usable gifts/gift packaging/scrap pages/cards and/or techniques. I encourage my girls to join in on the card challenge I set each month, and we have our own group facebook page where we can chat, ask questions, share our creations and our lives.
This month we learnt a new way to use the Tag a Bag Gift Boxes that are on pages 158 and 159 of the current annual catalogue. I love these boxes, so very versatile and they are food safe! Here are our projects:

This one measures 3" x 2.5" x 2.5".

This one measures 4.5" x 2.5" x 2.25".

This one measures 3.5" x 2.5" x 2.25" - what is suprising, is that inside the acetate sleeve are two little boxes....

....each one measures 1.75" x 2.5" x 2.25"

And here is our full-size box decorated similar to the cut-down one above. The belly band is actually one of our Tag a Bag Gift Bags with the bottom cut off and slipped over the acetate sleeve, with a small strip of sticky strip down one side, it fits perfectly!

Hip Hip Horray Cards on Display....

I had my Stamp Club plus a mini market at a local Dance Studio a couple of weeks ago and knew that I wanted to have this kit made up and displayed for my stamp club ladies and any crafty ladies coming to the market to see and touch. It only took about an hour and a half to do all of the cards, and I think they look great!
