I spent some time making a custom order this weekend, and I'm so pleased with how it came out!
I recently made a Merci chocolate wallet for a lady who did a wonderful job of making my daughter's dance costume, and she seemed to really like it - so much so that yesterday she messaged me asking me to make her 2 more, ones that could hold both the chocolates and some flight vouchers that she is gifting her mum and her mum's best friend.
I wanted to make something a bit larger than the one I made her originally, so that she could fold the flight vouchers neatly. I came up with one that measures 22.5cms x 10cms x 2.5cms and is quite a sturdy, substantial gift!
It has 2 pockets, one for the chocolates and one for the folded documents. You could put chocolates in both sides if you like, instead of documents, yum!
It has a magnet closure, but you could also add ribbon to tie into a pretty bow.
I used the retired Painted Season Designer Series Paper because I think it is just beautiful, but you could use any paper that you liked and make it for a male, female or teen, it's a very versatile design.
Here is the finished wallet:
The inside holding the chocolates and the empty document side which could also be filled with chocolates:
The colours I used were Calypso Coral and Whisper White and the stamps are retired except the 'treat yourself' from the "Picture Perfect Birthday" which is retiring this catalogue.
I've hidden the magnets under the dsp panels and it snaps together well, holding everything in nice and securely.
If you would like to order this chocolate wallet from me, I am selling them for $25 each, they hold 12 chocolates, or if you would like chocolates in both of the pockets, they are $30 each, postage extra.
If you are local to me and would like to book a private class for you and up to 3 friends, let me know, your class fee is the same - 12 chocolate for $25 and 24 chocolate for $30, plus you get me to show you my tips and tricks for putting it together!
You will need to supply your own strong double-sided tape, or I can supply you your own roll for a small fee - our tear and tape is $9 and is super-strong and easy to use.
*Tear and tape is having a small price rise with the new 2019-2020 catalogue and after June 3 will cost $11.50 per roll.*
Don't forget that our Retirement List is out now and things are beginning to sell out. Click here to pop into my online store to place your order, or contact me and I can place your order for you, or to book a class :)
Until next time,
Kylie
