A Chevron Christmas......

Have you seen our gorgeous little Chevron-stamped lunchbags? Sooo cute!

You get 10 in the package for only $6.95!! (131170). I have used these little bags for heaps of things, and I have talked about them before in this post. I saw one decorated recently that really caught my eye, but I didn't want to decorate a bag, I wanted to make a card!! - check out the original here. Here is the decorated bag that I used for inspiration -

and here is the card I made from the inspiration of the decorated bag -

I used the Chevron stamp (130499) in place of the printed bag on crumb cake cardstock - quick and easy! You could always attach part of the chevron bag to the cardstock if you don't have the stamp!

You can purchase the supplies to make this card and/or bag in my store or contact me to place your order.

Until next time,
Kylie xxx

Festive Flurry Collection Class....

Are you in love with the Festive Flurry stamps and matching framelits yet? This class just might push you over the edge!! And if you like alternative colours for your Christmas cards, you are in luck!!

The Festive Flurry Collection Class includes 4 different Christmas cards that cover everything from an easily mass-produced card with a WOW, to a tucked-in base with removable Christmas ornament! All 4 cards have the required Christmas bling, plenty of techniques and use a wide range of products.

The colours are Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Silver and Midnight Muse.

I am offering this class on Thursday November 7th at 10am and again the following Thursday, November 14th at 10am. Cost is $25.00 per person and includes all card kits, envelopes with liners to stamp to match, and refreshments.

You will need to RSVP and prepay by Monday 4th November for the class on the 10th, or Monday 11th for the class on the 14th.
You can RSVP here - it will take you to my class schedule on my Business Website and you can RSVP there, or email me to book your spot. I will give you payment details when you RSVP.

Unfortunately I cannot accommodate children at my residence, but I am more than happy to bring the class to you at another date if you need to look after children.

This class is available on alternative dates, just ask!

If you cannot make the class but would like to purchase the pre-cut kits and products (as we are unable to pre-stamp images per Stampin' Up!'s demonstrator rules) to complete the cards yourself, I would be happy to advise you - feel free to ask!

I hope to see you there!

Until next time,
Kylie xxx

Term 3 Class Treat.......

So regular followers of my blog will know that at the end of every term, and on special occasions, I make little treat holders for my children's classes. Now that my son is off to High School and I can't make treats for his class, I am down to just one class a term.......not looking forward to the day when my youngest is off to High School and I can't make treats for her either :( I might have to adopt another class!!

I found these on the internet - not my design, although I have altered the measurements to suit my needs -  and will be offering them in my classes - my Chicks and Chocolate class is coming up next month and I have a feeling (haha) that these just might make an appearance there!!
For school I used retired dsp from the last Annual Catalogue, it's a great way to use up left over papers! I made 40 of them so Lacey is able to give some to her favourite teachers too. It's a quick and easy design and I got them all done in one day while they were at school. Inside they will find a snack-sized dairy milk, yum!

If you would be interested in making these cute little holders, book a workshop and I can show you just how easy they are to make! Book into one of my Chicks and Chocolate classes, or book a private class just for you and maybe some of your friends, and we can make them together!

If you would like any of the products used in this project, you can purchase them online in my store, just click on "shop now" or you can email/text/phone your order to me. I would be happy to help!

Until next time,
Kylie xxx

A Christmas Card CAS ............

can be a beautiful thing!!
I saw this extremely simple card online - Pinterest I think, but I can't find it right now to link back to, when I find it I will link.
Here is my version of the original - again not my design.

And here are my versions of the card:

Wouldn't they make a lovely set? I am making more colours but the same design as I think they are quite effective....very simple, but with a bit of bling from the rhinestones.

If you would like the products to make your own, let me know or you can purchase online in my store 24/7.

Until next time,
Kylie xxx

Festive Flurry cards........

are my absolute favourite this year!
I recently made a Coastal Cabana one for our ESAD blog hop - click here to see it.
I really liked it, and going by some of the wonderful comments I received, others liked it too!
So I thought I would remake it in another colour, and as Cherry Cobbler is my favourite red.....

It looks wonderful in other colours too - pretty much any colour! Gorgeous, I will be making a few more I think!!
This is also an offering in my Christmas card classes - book in today!

Until next time,
Kylie xxx

    Sunburst Technique

So, the latest trend in cards seems to be the Sunburst, or Starburst, technique. When I first saw it I don't know whether I thought it was too random or messy, or too hard, but I have made quite a few now and the technique has grown on me!
This is a card I made in one of my card classes recently. I have a lovely lady that comes regularly as a private class and we make cards together. She is very talented, makes the most gorgeous cards herself, but she books in with me to make some too - I don't know why, maybe she just likes me haha :)

I used the Eastern Elegance dsp and the Bow Die - love, love, love!!

I saw one just like this online, but once I had made it, it seemed a bit busy for me, so I remade it to be a bit more simple -

I felt much better once I had used less patterns. What do you think? I am using this card in my Christmas card classes at the moment, you should book in and I will show you how to make it too!  I am happy to come to you, or host the class at my place - or I can even mail you the kit (minus the stamped image) and you can make it yourself!!

If you would like to order any of the product to make these cards yourself, contact me or you can place it yourself in my store :)

    Until next time,
    Kylie xxx

    Merry.......

Have you seen the new Holiday Catalogue from Stampin' Up!?
I am in love with it! So many possibilities for gifts and so much inspiration from all of the samples!!
I have put a major dent in my credit card, but at the same time, it has made my class attendance soar! I am getting to use all of the wonderful products and show them to people just as excited as I am, and they are sharing their ideas with me - it's a great thing!
I got (yet) another order this week and in it were the new Expressions Thinlits Dies (132171) - I have seen so many gorgeous samples out there using them, so couldn't wait to play with them myself!!
I have made a couple of things myself, but by far my favourite is a CAS of one I found online by the wonderful  Mary Fish - go check hers out!!

What do you think? I have also used the new Envelope Liners Die (132218) in the envelopes to match. I think it is gorgeous, and it didn't take long at all to make - a bonus if you were wanting to make a few to send out this Christmas!!

If you would like to see these dies in action for yourself, or would like the products to make this card yourself, let me know!

    Until next time,
    Kylie xxx
