It's that time of year again - the Annual ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop! Join us as we showcase some of the gorgeous product you will find inside the catalogue!!
Whether you have just started on your hop or you have come from Amity Knight's blog, welcome!!
I really love this years' catalogue - it is totally different to any Holiday Catalogue we have had before - even the layout is completely different! Pages and pages of inspiration in the front half, and all of the product information in the back half - and the product!! You have to check it out for yourself!
One of the first things I bought this year was the Festive Flurry Bundle. Although Australia doesn't do snowflakes at Christmas, you can't stop a girl from wishing!! The colours this year cry out for snowflakes!!
My first sample is one of our new Tag a Bag Gift Boxes (from the Annual Catalogue) decorated with the new Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper (just gorgeous!) and the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and matching Framelits. I used Coastal Cabana ink and our new Silver Metallic Inkpad. I love this new addition to our inks - it looks embossed even though it isn't!
I embossed the acetate cover of the box with our Polka Dot Embossing folder for a bit of added texture (has to be my favourite embossing folder of all time!). A bit of shredded Coastal Cabana cardstock and voila!
My next sample is one of our new Decorative Window Gift Boxes. These little boxes are about half the height of our Kraft Gift Boxes, and perfectly hold 9 Ferrero Rocher chocolates (just in case you needed an example of what to fill them with!!).
I decorated this with the same Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, Festive Flurry Stamp Set and matching Framelits. I ran some of our new Silver 3.2mm Ribbon down the middle of the belly band for a bit of extra sparkle - it's really metallic in real life! I used plenty of Stampin' Dimensionals for extra height and finished it off with our self-adhesive rhinestones - the more bling the better at Christmas, right??
The belly band just slides off so that the box can be opened and closed as often as you like.
My last sample is a quick and easy card using Coastal Cabana cardstock - the colours are just so me this year!
I cut the window out with the second largest Festive Flurry Framelit, then hung the two smallest framelits from the top of the cutout with the new silver ribbon. The matching window framelit is adhered to the mat inside the card. A little bit of scoring with the Simply Scored Tool and a sentiment and you are done!
It's so easy to have matching décor and gifts with Stampin' Up!s new range of Holiday products - and you just have to check out the new kits - not only are they oh so cute, they are oh so time-saving! Ask me for your copy of the Holiday Catalogue today to see for yourself!
Next on your hop is the lovely Kathryn Ruddick. Don't forget to give her some comment love!
I am so glad that you stopped by! I would love to hear your thoughts on my samples of just some of the goodies available in the new Holiday Catalogue, so please leave me a comment!!
I have posted some classes - click on the pink button on the right to see them - mostly using new product from the Holiday Catalogue - join me for some Holiday fun!!
Until next time,
Kylie xxx
