Holiday Ornaments Class

I thought you might like to see what I have been making with the Holiday Ornaments stamp set and matching framelits! I sat down yesterday as soon as my Holiday Catalogue order arrived - I am sure Australia Post likes to keep me on the edge of my seat with arrival days - I can't keep up with them at the moment!

Check it out - I absolutely love it! The centre snowflake in real life  is just stunningly sparkly!

I will be holding a class for this ornament on Tuesday 9th October at 10.30am and again at 7pm, and each class is strictly limited to 6. Why not bring a friend? If your friend is new to me, you will get a free gift! The class will be held at my home in Maddington, and I will forward you the address once you have reserved your spot! This class is a child-free event as we will be using hot glue.

The class is available for 3 prices -

COST 1: $60  All of your materials will be stamped and pre-cut for you. I will supply the heat gun, refill glue sticks and the silicone mat for your use on the night. You will still need to RSVP and pay by Monday 24th September to secure your spot.

COST 2$40 You will need the Silicone Craft Sheet from page 31 of the Holiday Catalogue - $9.95, plus the Tombow Multipurpose Glue, page 177 of the Annual Catalogue $6.95. You will also need a heat gun with refill glue sticks and your big shot if you have one.

You will also need the Silicone Craft Sheet (page 31 Holiday Catalogue, and the Tombow Mulitpurpose Glue (page 177 Annual Catalogue. PLUS you will get your shipping for FREE! That's another saving of $5.95! You will also need your glue gun with refill glue sticks and your big shot.

You must RSVP by Monday 24th September so that I have time to place an order and have your goodies here for the class. You will receive your goodies at the class - if you order the clearmount stamp set, you will need block E. To reserve your strictly limited spot, you will need to pay by Monday 24th September either by bank deposit - it can take a few days to clear, so once you have deposited the money, if you email me the deposit info, I will place your order. If you would like to pay by credit card, I can invoice you with Paypal and you won't need an account to pay. Or if you wish to pay by cash, we can arrange collection:)

Your class fee covers the class, full instructions you can take away with you, unlimited tea or coffee and a light morning tea/supper. If you are unable to make these class times and would like to schedule a time/day that suits you better, let me know, I would be happy to do that! This is such a fun ornament to make, and it is much bigger than you would expect. You will be using  materials/dies/papers you may not have seen yet, as well as having a couple of hours of relaxing, stress free fun! I can't wait!

If you are a seasoned crafter or have never crafted before, that's ok! We go at a leisurely pace and we won't leave you behind, I promise! Just let me know when you book.

2012 - 2013 Annual Catalogue BLOG HOP!!

Welcome to the ESAD 2012/2013 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop! You may have just found yourself in the middle of it, or followed the link from the wonderful Libby Dyson, but I am glad that you are here! Don't we have some wonderful, talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in Australia and New Zealand? I am amazed every time I vist their blogs and see their gorgeous creations! I hope you get a chance to see all of the blog hop participants and while you are there, why not leave a lovely comment to thank them for the inspiration? All of the demos work hard to share what they love - namely Stampin' Up! -  and we love to see that you like what we do!!

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators.

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group!

This is my creation for the Blog Hop - I hope you like it! I used a new stamp set called "Come to Bethlehem" (page 20). I loved this stamp set as soon as I saw it and I am looking forward to making a lot of Christmas cards this year! I saw this design on this website, another talented demo based in the U.S. and I loved it so much I had to share it here with you! I changed the colours for my CASE (copy and share everything) to neutral tones, and the brads for pearls, and that's it. I loved her original colours and will be using that colour scheme on them for personal use. It is a very easy design to recreate en masse, or just for special people - why don't you try it for yourself?

I used early espresso cardstock 121686, early espresso classic stampin' pad 126974, crumb cake cardstock 121685, crumb cake classic stampin' pad 126975, very vanilla cardstock 106549, whisper white cardstock 106550, neutrals designer series paper stack 117157, come to bethlehem unmounted stampset 120591, decorative label punch 120907, scallop oval punch 119856, dimensionals 104430, versamark stamp pad 102283, clear embossing powder 109130, heat tool 129056, pearl basic jewels 119247.

I also have a bit of an obsession with pinterest and 'pinning' pictures of decorative wreaths, you can find my boards here, so I thought I would make one for myself and share it with you. It is all in very vanilla and natural cane, but you could make it in any colours and in any theme - I will show my Halloween wreath for our Holiday Catalogue blog hop later in the month. It is very simple, using only ribbon, cardstock and pearls! It didn't take long to put together, and I have had it hanging on my door for a few days - and I really like it!

Sorry about the picture quality - I have asked for a light tent for my birthday next month to try and make my photos look better, so we will see what happens.
For this wreath I used very vanilla cardstock 106549, pearl basic jewels 119247, fun flowers bigz die 121812 and I stuck it all together with hot glue.

If you have any questions about how I made anything, or if you would like to order the products to make these, I would love to hear from you! Our new catalogues are out and available to order from 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, just call, text or email me and we can go from there!

I hope you are able to continue on your way around the blog hop, your next stop will be the wonderfully talented Monique Fielder. If you like anything that you see on your travels, be sure to leave a comment, it would be lovely to hear your thoughts!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I really enjoy your company! Have a great week!

Cheers,
Kylie xxx

Hi all - not sure why my older blog entries are being emailed out to my newsletter list, but I apologise! I hope nothing further goes out that is not supposed to, but if it does, rest assured that I am trying to find out why.

    Saturday 1 September 2012

Say Hello to the new Stampin' Up! 2012/2013 Annual Catalogue!!

Such an exciting day!! Not only is it the first day of my favourite season, Spring, it is also the first day of my favourite SU promotion - the Annual Catalogue!!

We are also releasing the fabulous new Holiday Catalogue today! I absolutely love it!! Chock full of gorgeous new product that I can't wait to use!! I have tried out a few of the products already at our recent Regional Training, and from my pre-order (just one of the perks of being a demonstrator!!) and I just love them!! Check out the Festive Cover and click here to see it on your computer.

Don't you just want to get your hands on these catalogues?? You can!! Contact me today for your free copy of one or both of them - postage charges may apply if you aren't local to me.

I am off to have another play with some of my product and to make samples for a party I am demonstrating at on Tuesday - I won't say what I am making so that I don't spoil the surprise - if you want to know more, book a party with me - I would love to show you!!

    See you soon,
    Kylie xxx

There's something yummy in my new catalogue....

Have you seen the new Stampin' Up! catalogue yet? It is available to order from starting today!! I love the first day of the new catalogue - it's always so exciting!!
When I saw the catalogue for the first time I got really excited. There are so many things in this catalogue that I can't wait to use, but one stood out amongst all the others. I had been blog surfing the US demos websites and blogs and came across some cookie stamps - yep, stamps made just for stamping into cookies!! I am not a big sweet eater, but my family is, and they are always asking me to bake them something yummy. My kids particularly love muffins and cookies, so these stamps are just perfect! There are three different sets to choose from and I used the holidays set (125152) when I made mine yesterday. Check them out!

And here they are straight out of my oven:

How cute are they? The cookie stamps come with 2 yummy recipes and my kids can't get enough! How cute would they look packaged up in our cello bags ( 102210), tied with our Halloween or Christmas ribbon and popped into one of our Kraft boxes? Decorate one of the Kraft boxes and you have a fab little gift!! This is what the Kraft box looks like plain - they measure 9 x 9 x 6.5cm. (124106).

And here are some decorated, just to give you an idea how they could look - I found this pic here - yet another talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Do you love to bake cookies? These cookie stamps are really easy to use and are dishwasher safe - they could even be used in play dough! They come with a quality wooden handle that fits both kids and adults hands comfortably.
So that's your first peek at the new cookie stamps. If you want to see these stamps in action, let me know, I would love to show you!

I will be back soon with more fabulous product from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue!
    Cheers,
    Kylie xxx
