2013/2014 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Yep, it's that time of year again - new catalogue time!! So exciting!! This year we are starting things off with a BANG!! A blog hop on the very first day that the catalogue goes live!
I am so glad that you have found me, whether you are just starting on your hopping with my blog, or you have come from kerryn's blog - welcome!!

What is ESAD?

ESAD
stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an
on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up!
demonstrators.

We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas & friendship, and we're always there to help and support each other.

So if
you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to leave me a comment with your email address and I'll contact you with information on how to join our wonderful group.

So let's get on with the hop!
I absolutely loved the look of the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper when I saw it in the new catalogue and couldn't wait to order it when we had our pre-order last month! So when we decided to do a blog hop for the new catalogue, I instantly knew what I was going to make - stationery! I made three samples for today and here is the first one:

This is a little notepad holder made from cardstock with a small notepad inside decorated with a strip of matching dsp. Quick and easy - I liked it so much that I made a few more from retired dsp for my upcoming launch. The notepad holder measures 8cm x 21 cm, you can alter the size easily to suit any notepads you have.

The second sample is a cute little holder filled with notecards and matching envelopes, decorated with Gingham Garden dsp and the matching washi tape. Check out the bow - I made it by sticking daffodil delight washi tape to whisper white organza ribbon and tying it into a bow! I love the new washi tape - I am definitely a convert to the washi tape craze!
The holder measures 11.5 x 3.5 x 9cm and the notecards measure 14.8 x 10.5cm, perfect size to send through the post!

This last sample is one of our clear mount cases, decorated and filled with a full-size notepad and matching SU! Logo pen. There is even a little pocket for bits and pieces on the other side. I made 3 of these (differently decorated) for my roomies and I for Convention recently, they are really handy! The clear mount covers come in a set of 4 for $9.95, and I picked up the notepads in a pack of 5 from my local grocery store for about $5, so these would make really cute, inexpensive gifts!

So here is my little set all together - what did you think? I love the bright colours of this DSP, I am not usually a yellow person, but it was just so cheery I couldn't help myself! I would love your feedback, so please leave some comment love below!

I used the following:
Gingham Garden DSP (129310) , Daffodil Delight cardstock (121680), Shisper White cardstock (106549), Clear Mount Cases (119105), Whisper White Organza ribbon (114319), Gingham Garden Washi Tape (129314), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246), Stampin Dimensionals (104430), Artisan Label Punch (130920), Scallop Oval Punch (119856), Large Oval Punch (119855), 1 3/4 Circle Scallop Punch (119854), 1 3/8 Circle Punch (119860), 7/8 Circle Punch (129404), Artisan Label Punch (130920), 1 3/4 Circle Punch (119850), Daffodil Delight Ink Pad (126944), Label Love Stamp Set (130622) and Express Yourself Hostess Stamp Set (130339).

If you would like to know how to make any of  these stationery samples, let me know, I would love to get together and show you! If you would like to order any of the product I used, click here to go to my store to place your order!

I hope you have enjoyed my samples and if you would like to continue on the blog hope click the link to continue on to Sharlene's blog - she is just so amazingly talented!!

I have added the entire list below, so if for any reason you get lost or sidetracked on your journey, you can come back here and find the next blog to link to! Thanks so much for stopping by, I loved having you here, and I would really love to hear from you, so please leave a comment :)

Stampin' Up! Seasonal Catalogue....

So we have had the new Seasonal Catalogue (formerly the Mini Catalogue) available to order from for nearly a month now - do you have yours? I absolutely love this catalogue, and I have to tell you, I have recruited more than one 'non-stamper' to becoming a 'stamper' just by showing them some of the gorgeous product that is in this very catalogue!!

Here are a couple of samples I have made to show to my latest Stampin' Parties (workshops):

I CASED this card from Pinterest (link to my boards) and just changed out the colours and sentiment to what I had on hand - this card showcases one of the new ribbons ( 1cm striped organdy ribbon melon mambo 129293), a fabulously verstatile new stamp set ( That's the Ticket 128075) and my favourite item from the new catalogue ( Flower Trim 126869), not to mention some favs from the Annual Catalogue:)

This one I just love and I used it as my last Make and Take at a workshop for a friend. I again CASED it from Pinterest (link to my boards). This card showcases the new embossing folder from the Seasonal Catty ( Cloudy Day 127022), the new doilies (Paper Doilies 129399), a new stamp set ( That's the Ticket 128075) as well as some favs from the Annual Catalogue.

This one was CASED on Pinterest (link to my boards) - original creator Catherine Pooler - check out her blog, she is one talented lady!! I changed mine out with different dsp, sentiment and flowers as that is what I had on hand, plus some favs from the Annual Catalogue .

Don't forget that Sale-a-bration and all it's wondeful freebies finishes in less than a month - don't miss out on your FREE product!!
And if you have ever thought about joining our wonderful company, the joining special of only $169 is even better value than ever before - you get to choose an extra 25% for FREE!! That's $294 worth of fantastic Stampin' Up! product from either of the two current catalogues of your choice for only $169!! You can choose anything you like - perhaps you would like the Big Shot and some Embossing Folders or dies, or some new stamps and inkpads or some of the hundreds of embellishments like pearls, rhinestones, flowers etc for your projects?? It is completely up to you!! Contact me to discuss your options - absolutely no obligation, but I would hate you to miss out on this fantatstic offer!!

If you would like to place an order or book a workshop or even discuss the joining opportunity, don't hesitate, give me or your current demonstrator a call! Ingrid, Peta, Amanda or myself would be happy to have a chat any time!!

Until next time,
Kylie xxx

2012 - 2013 Annual Catalogue BLOG HOP!!

Welcome to the ESAD 2012/2013 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop! You may have just found yourself in the middle of it, or followed the link from the wonderful Libby Dyson, but I am glad that you are here! Don't we have some wonderful, talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in Australia and New Zealand? I am amazed every time I vist their blogs and see their gorgeous creations! I hope you get a chance to see all of the blog hop participants and while you are there, why not leave a lovely comment to thank them for the inspiration? All of the demos work hard to share what they love - namely Stampin' Up! -  and we love to see that you like what we do!!

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators.

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group!

This is my creation for the Blog Hop - I hope you like it! I used a new stamp set called "Come to Bethlehem" (page 20). I loved this stamp set as soon as I saw it and I am looking forward to making a lot of Christmas cards this year! I saw this design on this website, another talented demo based in the U.S. and I loved it so much I had to share it here with you! I changed the colours for my CASE (copy and share everything) to neutral tones, and the brads for pearls, and that's it. I loved her original colours and will be using that colour scheme on them for personal use. It is a very easy design to recreate en masse, or just for special people - why don't you try it for yourself?

I used early espresso cardstock 121686, early espresso classic stampin' pad 126974, crumb cake cardstock 121685, crumb cake classic stampin' pad 126975, very vanilla cardstock 106549, whisper white cardstock 106550, neutrals designer series paper stack 117157, come to bethlehem unmounted stampset 120591, decorative label punch 120907, scallop oval punch 119856, dimensionals 104430, versamark stamp pad 102283, clear embossing powder 109130, heat tool 129056, pearl basic jewels 119247.

I also have a bit of an obsession with pinterest and 'pinning' pictures of decorative wreaths, you can find my boards here, so I thought I would make one for myself and share it with you. It is all in very vanilla and natural cane, but you could make it in any colours and in any theme - I will show my Halloween wreath for our Holiday Catalogue blog hop later in the month. It is very simple, using only ribbon, cardstock and pearls! It didn't take long to put together, and I have had it hanging on my door for a few days - and I really like it!

Sorry about the picture quality - I have asked for a light tent for my birthday next month to try and make my photos look better, so we will see what happens.
For this wreath I used very vanilla cardstock 106549, pearl basic jewels 119247, fun flowers bigz die 121812 and I stuck it all together with hot glue.

If you have any questions about how I made anything, or if you would like to order the products to make these, I would love to hear from you! Our new catalogues are out and available to order from 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, just call, text or email me and we can go from there!

I hope you are able to continue on your way around the blog hop, your next stop will be the wonderfully talented Monique Fielder. If you like anything that you see on your travels, be sure to leave a comment, it would be lovely to hear your thoughts!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I really enjoy your company! Have a great week!

Cheers,
Kylie xxx
