Fancy Fold - Butterfly Card

Do you remember the Butterfly Gala DSP from Sale-a-bration this year?

I absolutely love it, and still use it as I managed to hoard a few packs before SAB finished :)

Here is a quick card from a Fancy Fold class I held last week

A great way to use up your DSP and very quick to make!

Fancy Fold - Double Point Card

I had a Fancy Fold card class last week, and this is one of the cards we made

I love the monochromatic look!

I boo-booed on the first sample I made - I accidentally stuck down both sides of the point haha

Still looks great, and it is a happy accident that turned out ok :)

I made a pink one that opens in another direction as well

If you google 'double point card', you will find plenty of samples and directions on how to make them, so easy, but so different, don't you think?

I used the Magnolia Lane DSP and matching cardstock for the cards, and the flower was made using the Magnolia Dies.

Father's Day Combo

Father's Day is just around the corner - are you ready?

I have been making cards and matching Merci chocolate holders for a donation basket for my daughter's dance school - our dance team is fundraising for a special event next year.

This is what some of the packs look like (some use retired paper). I used the A Good Man stamp set and each one is heat embossed for that extra touch. 

Each set comes with the handmade card, stamped envelope and a matching Merci chocolate holder, which holds 4 chocolate sticks.

I hope the mums at dancing like them as every $ towards our fundraising will make a big difference!

Accented Blooms

Here's the last card in my last minute card class, super simple and quick! You could add a hint of colour to the flowers with your aquapainter and the inkpad, or leave it crisp and white, or add a bit of Wink Of Stella for some sparkle!

Cover the entire card front with designer series paper of your choice, then stamp a white panel with your image, punch out a coloured sentiment, pop it up on dimensionals, mat it and mount it onto your card front. 

Super quick! A great way to use up all of that dsp you are hoarding lol!

Friend Like You Bundle

Here is another quick and simple card from my last-minute card class the other day - completely CASED (copy and selectively edit) from the internet.

I scored lines around the perimeter of the card at .5cm, 1cm and 1.5cm as added interest.

I stamped the foliage then cut out a silhouette from the matching dies, and adhered that over the top with foam strips I cut from the mini-dimensional edges.

The dragonflies are stamped in Coastal Cabana, and popped up on dimensionals.

You could make this with any colour combination that you like - it's quck and simple to alter and to make :)
