Launch Day Prizes

Who doesn't love to win a prize???

I had a few spot prizes ready for my launch ladies and here are two of them - chocolate sliders! These are so easy to make, and who doesn't love chocolate??
I made these with the new Quatrefancy DSP - a gorgeous specialty DSP that we are offering this year - I got it in my Mosaic Bundle for free - gotta love that!!

Aren't they cute?

I embossed the Labels too, which is why they look darker than the matching paper - that's a technique I just love - heat embossing!! It's such a WOW!!

Launch Make and Take

This is the Mosaic Madness Bundle, which comes with the matching punch - I was able to get this set for free because I had the right Title this year - Manager. For the first time! Stampin' Up! is just so generous!
I needed something cute but simple for my launch Make and Take, and saw so many cute ideas that I cannot remember where the inspiration for this sample came from - so if this looks something like one you have seen before, you will know why!!

I used one of the new In Colours - Strawberry Slush, one of the new core colours - Smoky Slate, one of the new embossing folders - Modern Mosaic, and one of the new punches - Mosaic.

If you would like the supplies to make this card, they can be found in my store or you can book me to come over and we can make it together with your friends! (and it's free to have me visit!!)

Until next time,

Washi Tape for Boys

Look at them. Just sitting there. Not looking like much. Ha! That's what you think!!
This is the Epic Day Washi Tape - you might remember it was released with the This and That Bundle with the This and That Journal. When I first saw it, I didn't really know what to make of it, but check out how cool and simple these cards are just with a bit of tape on them!!

Literally the work of a couple of minutes - how quick and simple if you need a card in a hurry!!

I found inspiration for both of these cards online - the second card here, and the first card was a remake of the girl Washi Tape card from my last post. What do you think?

You can purchase this tape in my online store or contact me to place your order direct.

If you would like to see this tape in action for yourself, book me for a Stampin' party! I would love to show you just how easy this tape is to use!

Washi Tape For Girls

Washi Tape - do you know what it is? Have you had a play with it yet?
I was hooked on Washi Tape when I saw all the samples and workshop wows at Convention recently - I am amazed at how talented some people are!! I probably wouln't have thought of that many things to do with it!!
The samples I made for my launch are all extremely simple - I wanted to showcase how easy it was to use and the gorgeous colours we currently have available. I found most of the sample ideas online - google 'stampin up washi tape' and let your creativity loose!!

This sample was inspired by Sandi McIver - check out her original!

This sample I cased from here - check it out!

Aren't they bright and cheery? Thanks to the lovely ladies for sharing their creativity, thanks to them, they have a new convert to Washi Tape - me!!

You can see this tape in action for yourself - just contact me to book a Stampin' Party for you and your friends!

If you would like to place an order for this tape online, click here, and you will go to my store, where you will find lots of other pretty cool things!

Gorgeous Grunge

Now it may not look like much here in black and white, but I have seen some fabulous cards and scrapbook pages decorated with this set! We got this set at Convention recently, and I really like it. Here is the sample from Convention:

This next card was one I found on Pinterest and the original is here - from the gorgeous Sandi McIver, who I have followed for years! I changed it a bit, using what I had on hand to make my own, and this is what I came up with:

I used the new In Colours Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush and the new Simply Pressed Clay which I coloured with the Strawberry Slush Inkpad and a blender pen.

This next one is another one I found on Pinterest. Again I changed it to suit what I had on hand. Here is the original, and here is mine:

And this last one is another I saw online, but I can't find the original right now - if it is yours, thanks for sharing it!!
This would be a really good one for a make and take as it is so easy to reproduce, and good fun too!

I made all of these samples for my launch to showcase some of the product I was able to get on pre-order before the new catalogue was available. If you would like to see or make these for yourself, let me know, this could be your make and take at your workshop, just book me in!!

Until next time,

Carryover List

You may have wondered where all of the Christmas stamps were in our brand new Annual Catalogue? Never fear, we have a fabulous carry-over list full of them!

All of these stamps are still available to order and will be all year long! We still have a Holiday Mini (not so mini anymore!!) due out later in the year, but until then, feel free to order these gorgeous sets for your Christmas craft!
A quick tip in case you were wondering - if you see an image outlined in red, it means it has a matching framelits set (goes through the bigshot machine) and if you see it outlined in blue, it has a matching punch. Both the punch and framelits are purchased separately.

You can see these sets in greater detail here, and you can order these sets here - just punch in the code in the search box and off you go!

Until next time,

2013/2014 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Yep, it's that time of year again - new catalogue time!! So exciting!! This year we are starting things off with a BANG!! A blog hop on the very first day that the catalogue goes live!
I am so glad that you have found me, whether you are just starting on your hopping with my blog, or you have come from kerryn's blog - welcome!!

What is ESAD?

ESAD
stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an
on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up!
demonstrators.

We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas & friendship, and we're always there to help and support each other.

So if
you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to leave me a comment with your email address and I'll contact you with information on how to join our wonderful group.

So let's get on with the hop!
I absolutely loved the look of the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper when I saw it in the new catalogue and couldn't wait to order it when we had our pre-order last month! So when we decided to do a blog hop for the new catalogue, I instantly knew what I was going to make - stationery! I made three samples for today and here is the first one:

This is a little notepad holder made from cardstock with a small notepad inside decorated with a strip of matching dsp. Quick and easy - I liked it so much that I made a few more from retired dsp for my upcoming launch. The notepad holder measures 8cm x 21 cm, you can alter the size easily to suit any notepads you have.

The second sample is a cute little holder filled with notecards and matching envelopes, decorated with Gingham Garden dsp and the matching washi tape. Check out the bow - I made it by sticking daffodil delight washi tape to whisper white organza ribbon and tying it into a bow! I love the new washi tape - I am definitely a convert to the washi tape craze!
The holder measures 11.5 x 3.5 x 9cm and the notecards measure 14.8 x 10.5cm, perfect size to send through the post!

This last sample is one of our clear mount cases, decorated and filled with a full-size notepad and matching SU! Logo pen. There is even a little pocket for bits and pieces on the other side. I made 3 of these (differently decorated) for my roomies and I for Convention recently, they are really handy! The clear mount covers come in a set of 4 for $9.95, and I picked up the notepads in a pack of 5 from my local grocery store for about $5, so these would make really cute, inexpensive gifts!

So here is my little set all together - what did you think? I love the bright colours of this DSP, I am not usually a yellow person, but it was just so cheery I couldn't help myself! I would love your feedback, so please leave some comment love below!

I used the following:
Gingham Garden DSP (129310) , Daffodil Delight cardstock (121680), Shisper White cardstock (106549), Clear Mount Cases (119105), Whisper White Organza ribbon (114319), Gingham Garden Washi Tape (129314), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246), Stampin Dimensionals (104430), Artisan Label Punch (130920), Scallop Oval Punch (119856), Large Oval Punch (119855), 1 3/4 Circle Scallop Punch (119854), 1 3/8 Circle Punch (119860), 7/8 Circle Punch (129404), Artisan Label Punch (130920), 1 3/4 Circle Punch (119850), Daffodil Delight Ink Pad (126944), Label Love Stamp Set (130622) and Express Yourself Hostess Stamp Set (130339).

If you would like to know how to make any of  these stationery samples, let me know, I would love to get together and show you! If you would like to order any of the product I used, click here to go to my store to place your order!

I hope you have enjoyed my samples and if you would like to continue on the blog hope click the link to continue on to Sharlene's blog - she is just so amazingly talented!!
