Tealight Card Class

I recently held a class making some Tealight Cards using the new All Is Bright Designer Series Paper from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue.

I filled them with matching tealights from IKEA - they smell amazing!

The red ones smelled like sweet berries - matching the paper perfectly!

This one smelled like vanilla icecream!

I wanted to show how easy it was to alter the pattern using different amounts of candles - the length stayed the same, but the width changed with the candle numbers. Once I demonstrated how easy it was, they went together really quickly!

Did you notice the gold doily? That was one of our pearlized doilies with gold embossing on the reverse side - so easy!

Tone on Tone Accented Blooms

Are you sick of seeing Accented Blooms yet? I hope not - I have a couple more to show you!

I have stamped the stamp in Whisper White craft ink using the Stamparatus as the craft ink can sometimes be patchy. I stamped each one 3 times, then sprinkled over the White Embossing Powder and melted it using the Heat Tool. Once it was cool, I went over it with the clear Wink Of Stella glitter brush and darkened the flowers slightly. The sparkle is lovely!

I stamped the sentiment in versamark ink, then into the matching card colour - either Mint Macaron or Crumb Cake - and sprinkled over the clear embossing powder and melted it with the Heat Tool. Once it was cool, I punched it out using the Tailored Tag Punch, and adhered it to the card front.

Quick and simple, but I think it looks pretty wow!

More Accented Blooms

I'm back with a few more of the Accented Blooms cards I have been making lately.

This time I have heat embossed  the sentiment that came with the stamp set, then punched it out with the Tailored Tag Punch, and adhered it to the card front.

The embossing makes the sentiment panel darker, which I think makes it pop, don't you?

The flower stamp has been heat embossed as well, making it raised and shiny, you can't see it in the photo very well, but it's lovely in person!

You can attach the stamp to a clear block (if you don't have the wood mount set), but I used the Stamparatus as I have the clear mount set. I cut all of my card fronts to the same size so I could just leave the stamp on the stamp plate and reink it in different colours, knowing it will always stamp in the same spot every time. It's also great for just in case you don't ink up evenly, you can just reink, restamp and know it will line up perfectly.
